Marketfeed for the Hoadley Finance Add-in for Excel

Marketfeed is one of the leading suppliers of real-time market data in the US.

With a subscription to the  Marketfeed service and the Hoadley Finance Add-in for Excel you can include real-time streaming quotes (dynamically updating without the need to refresh), snapshot quotes, and option chains in your spreadsheets and spreadsheet applications.

The types of instruments supported include equities from US equities exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX) and options (equity, index) using data supplied by OPRA. This includes all CBOE options.
 

Applications are integrated with Marketfeed data

The Options Strategy Evaluation Tool  will retrieve live Options Chains from Marketfeed  for advanced analysis of options strategies, including strategy comparisons, probability of profit analysis, ROI, automatic position hedging, early exercise analysis and much more.

The Implied Volatility Calculator will use Marketfeed live option chains for monthly volatility smile/skew analysis, implied volatility surface analysis including 3D volatility surface graphing, valuation analysis and hedging optimization.
 

Bring streaming quotes and option chains into your own spreadsheets

he Hoadley Finance Add-in for Excel contains a function and function wizard to connect your own spreadsheets directly to the Marketfeed streamer. The add-in also includes a component for bringing live option chains into your own spreadsheets for analysis.

This combination of the Finance Add-in for Excel plus live data from Marketfeed provides a powerful analysis platform for traders.  You can use the power of Excel with the Hoadley Finance Add-in to look behind market data to gain a much deeper understanding of option pricing, volatility, probabilities, and hedging.
 

Software Environment 

Microsoft Excel version 2002 (office XP) or above running under Microsoft Windows.  The Marketfeed service cannot be used on earlier versions of Excel as the real-time data technology (RTD)  required for a robust streaming service was first released in Excel 2002.
 

Pricing 

The Marketfeed monthly subscription for the Hoadley Finance Add-in for Excel comprises a basic cost of $19.95 for equities & indices, plus $10.00 for options.

The total monthly cost of a Marketfeed subscription for equities, indices, option and option chains is therefore $US29.95  plus exchange fees of $4.00 for non-professional users.  Discounts are available for annual subscriptions.

This price allows the user to view 300 simultaneous streaming real-time records. There is no limit imposed by Marketfeed on snapshot real-time quotes.

Whilst 300 simultaneous streaming real-time quotes is generally more than enough for most users, you can optionally add additional blocks of 200 simultaneous streaming real-time records at a cost of $15 per block.  A maximum of 1,500 symbols can be handled by the Finance Add-in for Excel.
 

Subscribe 

By subscribing to the Marketfeed service using the links below, you will be able to use your subscription in other applications that support Marketfeed data, such as Quotetracker.  Conversely, if you already have an appropriate existing subscription to Marketfeed you will be able to use it in the Hoadley Finance Add-in without incurring any additional charges.
